Who would have thought? You and your family are sitting down to enjoy a wonderful, freshly prepared meal when - out of no where - someone is murdered! Gasp! You look around only to see Sheriff Taylor and the Mayberry crowd, Simon and the gang from TV and a few pirates. No, you're not going crazy. It's the Great Smoky Mountain Murder Mystery.
Pirates of the Little Pigeon This family-friendly show is specifically designed for kids of all ages. Set on the mighty Little Pigeon River, the pirates will encounter a murder and require your help to solve it. Will they steal the treasure? Will the murderer be captured? You'll find out.
Dine on a meal fit for a king (or a pirate) including chicken nuggets, tater tots, corn on the cob, apple sauce and brownies. Children and adults alike enjoy the antics that take place during this mystery.
Mayberry R.I.P. No one would suspect something this awful happening in such a peaceful little town. But sure 'nuff, somebody has been murdered in Mayberry! Sheriff Randy Taylor and your other favorite characters will need your help to track down the outlaws and bring them to justice.
Before you get started, it's best to fuel up on some of Aunt Bee's best home cooking. Feast on southern fried chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob, fluffy biscuits and crispy apple cobbler. Once the criminals have been apprehended, you can all head out to the porch for some lemonade.
Murder on American Idle People may have described Idle as a "killer" show, but this is taking things to the extreme. Audience members actually compete in a karaoke competition as contestants on the show. Three judges - including Simon, Paula and Mr. Jackson - decide who moves on and who is cut. But in the midst of all the fun, a murder takes place. Who is it? Whodunit? You'll find out when you help solve the mystery.
Cocktails will be served along with a fabulous dinner of succulent pork tenderloin, roasted chicken, creamy vegetable soup and more. Proof of age is required at shows where alcohol is served.
With a scenic porch that overlooks the Little Pigeon River, you can come early and relax before partaking in a scrumptious meal. Prices for this night of food and fun vary depending on which event you take part in. New shows are added regularly so check with the theater office for current performances.
What an engaging and entertaining way to spend an evening in the Smoky Mountains . Take part in a little light-hearted murder the next time you head to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge or Sevierville , Tennessee .
